Edward is a Mexican-American visual storyteller who has worked with brands such as Toyota USA, Sesame Street, Mercedes-Benz, Yakima racks, Disney, Giant/Liv Cycling, Shimano, Epic Rides, Corel, Camelbak, Anheuser-Busch/Estrella Jalisco, Western Union, Hilton, Tasco, Swiftwick, Giordana cycling. He has been featured in publications such as Mountain flyer: the Mountain Bike journal, ImagineFX, Bicycling Magazine, Backcountry magazine, Outside business journal, Outside Magazine, Pure Nintendo, Nintendo force. Edward has been featured in the Hispanic Star rising stars Volume 3 for his contributions to Latino excellence. Edward’s debut children’s book in which he wrote/illustrated published by Mango publishing titled “The boy from Mexico” is also available at Walmart, Target, Barnes & Noble in physical, digital and audio formats. Edward’s second children’s book will be released September 10th 2024 titled “The boy from Mexico becomes a Farmworker”.
Edward is wrapping up animation on “Super Ubie Island 2” with Notion Games, the sequel to 2013’s “Super Ubie Island” and iOS “Up Up Ubie” in which he worked on as well. “Super Ubie Island 2” will be available on Xbox. Along with this Notion Games is releasing “Dream, Create, Play” a comprehensive book on game animation which Edward Co-Authored. Both of these will be released mid 2024.
Edward has been recognized by the Latino Film Institute as a LatinX in Animation Spark Grant Finalist with Netflix for 2023 and is pursuing the adaptation of his children’s books into an animated film/series. Edward is currently Writing and Directing his debut short film which will be released 2025.
As an AmeriCorp alumni and former Special Education teacher, Edward’s main goal in life is to create stories that he wished existed when he was a child. He has been featured on Univision, TV Azteca, Telemundo and CNN en español for his children’s book.
